Garage doors from B & D Doors

B & D Doors, Australia's leading garage door manufacturer, has launched a rolling garage door opener with a host of patented features that allow it to 'think for itself'.

The garage door is the largest moving item in a house and the new B & D Controll-A-Door ® provides a device that switches off the door if overloaded, turns off if you're away and automatically stops the door if it's damaged.

For homeowners, the latest design features a host of new technological advances to make using and maintaining automatic garage doors simple and easy.

The new patented technology advances in the Controll-A-Door ® include an inbuilt sensitivity adjustment, designed to automatically adjust to changes in door characteristics caused by everyday wear and temperature changes.

Whereas in other models consumers need to make regular adjustments, the new B & D Controll-A-Door R automatically compensates for changes, eliminating the need for users to adjust manually.

The Controll-A-Door ® also resets itself if the power fails and if overloaded will automatically switch off the door before any damage is done.

A new 'Vacation Mode' allows users to isolate the remote control and switch it off when going on holidays or when away from the house for extended periods.

This eliminates the chance of another remote transmission switching on the opener while the house is empty - an extremely rare occurrence with a B & D opener as each transmitter is individually programmed from one of 3,486,000,000 available codes.

Another feature is the door positioning system - allowing the door, if it is disengaged and operated manually, to be re-engaged without having to reset the positioning system.

Garage doors require service on a regular basis to maintain proper operation and safety for those using the door. The Controll-A-Door ® even alerts users - via a flashing lamp - when their garage door is due for a service.

The quiet and strong opener will stop the door from opening or closing if it is damaged or too heavy to lift.

The new hand remote control can also now be used to switch on and off the inbuilt courtesy lamp instead of using fluorescent lamps that are often expensive to switch on.

B & D invented the Roll-A-Door and rolling door opener - and the B & D Controll-A-Door ® is the fruit of nearly 50 years of garage door technology experience.
