Australian first in Car Parking Solutions.  The exciting Portico Apartments project, embracing the historical Scots Church site in Sydney, features an innovative computer controlled parking system which can park 112 cars with average retrieval times of 90 seconds. Installed by Car Parking Solutions (CPS) The Multiparker 720 is a storage and retrieval system stacking cars side by side and on top of each other. Comprising 12 levels, reaching down 28 metres below ground, the system utilises approximately half the space of a conventional car park. "Over 70 of these systems have been built world-wide but this is the first in Australia and required inventive engineering to install. The developers, Westpoint Constructions, could not have fulfilled the specified car parking requirements without this installation," said CPS's Managing Director Bob O'Donnell.
