Tilers and Do-It-Yourselfers are discovering Davco's SMP 2010, a reinforced adhesive specifically designed for high quality porcelain, stone and marble installations.

Davco SMP 2010 has high bond strength, lower shrinkage and allows long repositioning making the adhesive product ideal for commercial and residential jobs.

A white, premium grade, polymer fortified and reinforced adhesive, SMP 2010 can be used on both walls and floors for both interior and exterior applications.

Andrew Nunn, Davco's business manager, says since its introduction the product has been welcomed by tilers and DIY'ers when laying tiles on concrete, cement renders/screeds, blockwork, rendered brickwork and particular waterproofing membranes.

"This is an adhesive that provides high bond strength combined with excellent adhesion to all types of porous and non-porous tiles and stone.

"Because it is reinforced SMP 2010 has much lower shrinkage than other cement based adhesive systems. Lower shrinkage is required for natural stones. They are more prone to shrinkage and or expansion than ceramic tiles" said Andrew Nunn.

"SMP 2010 provides the luxury of having more time to move the tile or natural stone into the correct position. This is particularly handy on difficult or awkward projects that may require careful adjustment to get it right " Andrew Nunn added.
