New acrylic based paving paint for concrete slabs from White Knight Paints.

Concrete slabs, the practical but ugly solution for a building base, can now be given a very beautiful but relatively
inexpensive face lift.
The acrylic-based Paving Paint - Ultra Pave - can be applied on both interior and exterior slabs and comes in 65 beautiful
colours.
The slab pictured was given the ultimate makeover by applying a subtle stamped pattern to add interest and texture to the
surface.

The slab was first of all given two coats of Ultra Pave in Mint Stick - no primer is required - and then a stamp (purchased
from craft shops) was used to apply a random pattern in Diamond Delight over the top.
Being acrylic, Ultra Pave is extremely easy to use and actually halves the time taken to prepare and complete the application
process while lasting as much as five times longer than any solvent-based alternative.
The paving paint can be applied using either a brush, roller or spray gun depending on the area to be covered and the finish
required. It is touch dry in only 30 minutes, ready for a second coat after two hours and can be walked on in just six hours.
Designed for both interior and exterior application, Ultra Pave can be used on concrete slabs, masonry walls, driveways, and
concrete pavers and dries to an extremely hard wearing, slip-resistant, colour-fast satin finish.
The palette of 65 colours lends itself to any number of contemporary designs using one or more colours - bold borders, geometric patterns
or stamped and stencilled patterns.
A litre of Ultra Pave, which retails from $25 a litre and $120 for 10, will cover up to 10 square metres.
Ultra Pave, by White Knight Paints, is available nationally from paint specialists and hardware stores.
