Bio Mesh Tubing is Acacia Filtration Systems' tubular range of biological
treatment and filtration medium. Different polymers are used to accommodate different end
uses. Bio Mesh Tubing provides an efficient, environmentally sustainable wastewater treatment
system.
Bio Mesh Tubing is chemically inert and ideal for use in trickling filters, water aeration
and degassing systems, aerobic and anaerobic submerged filters, oil separation systems, storm
water run-off sumps, and water cooling towers. It is also highly suited to aquaculture
applications. BioMesh tubing delivers outstanding long term, low maintenance performance.
Acacia's Bio Mesh Tubing is available with both rough and smooth surfaces to suit different
applications. Modules are available in a variety of standard tube diameters and sizes. In
addition, we are always delighted to develop and produce configurations to suit the individual
needs of our customers, on request.
Rough surfaced tubes provide an ideal growth environment for biological treatment systems
including aquaculture, commercial and domestic sewage and storm water and wastewater treatment
systems. The rough surface increases the tube's surface area and ensures fast biomass accumulation.
Smooth surface tubes deliver outstanding separation of oil and hydrocarbons. The modular
design enables the creation of extended coalescing packs to maximise separation, and ensures
ease of maintenance. These tubes are also recommended for use in cooling tower systems.
