Greener Turf Co artificial grass
Being a Werribee market gardener is a tough gig in a drought so Tom Elevato
looked for an extra business. Following promptings from his daughter and a lightning trip to
China, his Greener Turf company is now supplying incredibly realistic artificial grass that
will thrive even in the worst drought.
The hard wearing artificial turf is laid over a crushed rock base, securely pegged down and
then has sand and rubber granules brushed into it to look totally realistic. While the
two-tonne Magicturf is assembled in China, it is truly a product of the world with the fibres
produced in Holland and manufacture red using special "cobble tufting" machines from England.
