Viridian Enviroshield™ window film
Viridian's Enviroshield Performance is a product group that encompasses
two versatile performance interlayers; Enviroshield ITO and Enviroshield XIR. Both products
allow for the creation of a visually appealing structure with maximum visual daylight and
low energy consumption.
Enviroshield Performance ITO increases solar control without sacrificing daylight transmission
and is Viridian's highest performance single glazed product. The coating technology combines
high levels of solar control and thermal insulation in a Grade A laminated safety glass,
without heavy tinting or reflective mirror-like coatings that reduce natural light. Offering
the highest light transmission solar control product in the Viridian range, it eliminates 50%
of solar heat gain.
Viridian Enviroshield Performance XIR looks remarkably similar to clear float glass while
offering outstanding protection again solar heat gain. XIR has wide application and is ideal
for all types of glass facades, glass roofs, atriums, sports facilities and anywhere else
solar control is required without sacrificing natural daylight.
Combining the XIR film with high performance body tints and Low E pyrolitic coated glasses allows
solar control to be further improved with the additional benefit of reduced heat loss. Viridian's
unique oversize manufacturing capabilities provide architects with endless design solutions.
