Studco Steel Track with Rolled Hemmed Safety Edge 
Studco Steel Track now available with a rolled hemmed safety edge. The new Studco hemmed track is yet another product designed and developed by Studco Building Systems to provide a safer work environment for site contractors. The aim of Studco's hemmed track is to lessen the chance of injury by reducing exposure to sharp edges by site personnel during the installation process of the steel stud wall system. According to Worksafe Victoria, manual handling is the biggest cause of injuries in workplaces. The new Studco hemmed track addresses these issues: with the sharp edge gone, these tracks are safer and easier to handle, and once installed, the likelihood of cutting your-self on the hemmed edge is greatly reduced. The safety hem runs along the entire length of the track, which also provides extra strength to the profile. Studco hemmed track is available in all sizes, from 64mm to 92mm, in both 0.50BMTand 0.70BMT range. There will be no change to the track part numbers. Unhemmed track will also be available on request (lead times apply).
