Architectural Specification Services from Archinterface

ARCHINTERFACE helps three of its clients getting specified on Mirvac Stanhope Shopping Village project.

Archinterface, now in its third year of operation, represents half a dozen companies and helps them getting specified on projects and follows up until the job is completed. LED lighting, Lighting Controls, Engineered Timber Floors, Timber Composites, Metal Fabrics and Lifts are the core products we promote.

For this particular project, we were approached by one of the Architects at Mirvac, enquiring about the potential use of INNOWOOD timber composite battens in a series of ceiling fixtures designed to enhance the look of their Stanhope Shopping Village in Sydney North West. One of these ceiling panels had to in corporate a series of RGB LED linear profiles to be integrated within the panel over the children playground area, as well as sequencing the change of colours automatically over time.

We suggested the use of our OPAL LIGHTING LED profiles and the use of a LUTRON lighting control system to achieve Mirvac's brief. INNOWOOD eventually acted also as project manager and installer on site to provide Mirvac with a turn-key solution. All work had to be done out of opening hours, as the Shopping Village was still open to the public during the upgrade.

The result looks fantastic and we ended up doing more work on this site and on another Mirvac Shopping Centre on the Sunshine Coast.
