Coloured LED Luminaires for GIVIT at Floriade from WE-EF

The Floriade festival attracts half-a-million visitors each year and this year GIVIT, a national online not-for-profit organization, has been selected along with one other charity to be the Charity Partner.

Green light for GIVIT at the Canberrian Floriade, 16 September - 15 October 2017

Floriade is a flower and entertainment festival held each September-October in Canberra's Commonwealth Park featuring extensive displays of flowering bulbs with integrated sculptures and other artistic features. The festival attracts half-a-million visitors each year and this year GIVIT, a national online not-for-profit organization, has been selected along with one other charity to be the Charity Partner for Floriade.

The key activity of GIVIT across Floriade will be #DonateRejuvenate House - a beautiful glasshouse which, by the conclusion of Floriade, will be packed to the rafters with essential household items donated by Floriade visitors and corporate donors for vulnerable members of our local community in need. A large display board will allow Floriade visitors to see exactly what is required and visitors will have the opportunity to physically donate an item or pledge online. To guide visitors to the glasshouse in the evening, the glasshouse will be lit by coloured LED luminaires, courtesy of WE-EF LIGHTING. WE-EF has a longstanding tradition of commitment to the public and supporting a good cause.
