First Robotic Plant in Australia
A fully automatic robotic plant for painting automotive disc brake rotors has been installed in 2003. The new plant is the first of its kind to be commissioned in Australia and incorporates cutting edge American and European technology.

CSA developed Caliper Painting System
CSA has developed a unique 4 stage painting process for application to cast aluminium brake calipers.

The painting process combines space age surface coating technology with state of the art application equipment.

Principle Characteristics of cured primer film.
- Conforms to AS 3750.13
- Highly adhesive and flexible. Particularly suited to non ferrous metals.
- Good flow and wetting properties.
- Long recoating intervals are possible.
- Provides a receptive surface for the application of catalysed polyurethane finish coat.
- Highly resistive to chemical and solvent attack.
- Exhibits extreme toughness and mar resistance when overcoated.
- Corrosion resistance is of the very highest order and has Lloyds approval as a corrosion control coating.
