Brifen wire rope safety fences protecting motorists in Tasmania
Brifen Wire Rope Safety Fences have been directly credited with saving
lives and reducing the incidence of serious injury in numerous impacts.
In keeping with its focus of maximizing safety on the State's roads through the use of
wire rope barrier systems, Tasmania's Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources
(DIER) has recently installed Brifen TL4 Wire Rope Safety Fences (WRSF) in key locations
throughout the State.
Totaling some 12,640 metre's in length, the new Brifen TL4 fences have been installed in
both verge and median locations along some of the Apple Isle's busiest roads.
