Eco Sac water storage bladders now with a protective cover

Doing our bit to conserve our precious water supplies this summer
doesn't mean we have to compromise our outdoor entertaining areas. The unique
design of Eco Sac, the latest innovation in rainwater harvesting, can be installed
under pool decks and patios, eliminating the need for intrusive tanks that can
ruin garden aesthetics and take up valuable space.
Now Eco Sac is an even better investment with the announcement that leading
Australian sail designer, Ian MacDiarmid has designed a new protective outdoor
cover range for Eco Sac.
Suitable for new or existing Eco Sac's, the tailor-made cover provides protection
from the elements and any debris falling through decking, extending the life of your
Eco Sac unit.
Notably different from other water storage solutions, Eco Sac allows Australians to
collect and conserve more water faster than traditional tanks while discretely hiding
away under floors and decks.
"The line between indoor and outdoor living is becoming blurred, causing homeowners
to seek out products that provide both style and function. At the same time, we're
becoming increasingly aware of the need to protect our vital resources, like water.
Eco Sac is the perfect solution for those who want to do their bit for the environment,
without compromising space or aesthetics of the outdoor living area and I'm pleased
to have been involved in the design of the new protective cover," says Ian MacDiarmid.
"The best part is that the water collected from the Eco Sac can then be used to
enhance the rest of the outdoor space including watering the garden and filling
swimming pools and fish ponds. Of course the water can also be reticulated indoors
for washing machines and toilets," MacDiarmid adds.
Modular Design
Eco Sac commissioned one of Australia's leading sail designers, Ian MacDiarmid to
develop the innovative modular covers, which means the covers are made from individual
panels that are joined together by the same quality, high grade zips used by sail makers.
Each panel is shaped and gusseted to fit every edge and curve of the Eco Sac, no matter
how full it is. This thoughtful design ensures that any water pooling on the top of the
cover drains away through the zips and webbing, minimising risk of stagnant water or
mosquito breeding for bladders that may be exposed to the elements through gaps in decking.
Materials
The Eco Sac protective cover is manufactured from polyurethane coated polyester. The
polyurethane coating provides sun, dirt and water resistance and the polyester gives the
required strength to the cover. A completely adjustable webbing strap and buckle locks
around each leg of the Eco Sac frame and a longer webbing strap fastens around the mounting
plate and inlet and outlet pipes - ensuring the perfect fit.
