Precision Poly underground rainwater harvesting systems

This system can produce operating pressures up to 40 metres (57 psi) which is comparable to most ordinary
mains water pressure. The self priming pump is manufactured in stainless steel and plastic, to provide maximum resistance
to corrosion and water discolouration. It is ideal for drawing rain water from underground tanks to supply toilet flushing,
garden taps and even washing machines as well. The special floating suction hose makes sure that rainwater is always drawn
from the clean middle zone of the underground tank. It also has a stainless steel mesh strainer to protect against the entry
of large particles.
An electronic control panel is supplied, with inbuilt by-pass valve and dual check non-return valve. When a tap is turned
on in the house or garden the control module will react and sense the demand for water. The pump will start automatically
provided that there is power available, and that there is sufficient water in the tank. In the unlikely event of a power failure
the control module will change to by-pass mode to provide an uninterrupted supply of fresh water from the mains supply.
These features ensure that there will always be a reliable supply of clean, fresh water for toilet flushing and laundry use.
Polyethylene tanks are simple to transport and install due to their light weight and extreme toughness. They do not need
heavy cranes on site for unloading, and can be easily moved into position using manual labour. Installation time on site is
therefore reduced. Wet weather presents no serious obstacle to the installation of a polyethylene tank as they are light
enough to be manually transported on building sites. These polyethylene underground rainwater tanks are manufactured
in accordance with strict quality assurance procedures to comply with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 1546.1.
