Oil Filled Nylon from Allplastics Engineering 
Allplastics offers a new type of cast nylon produced by the addition of a special oil to the polymer structure. Laboratory tests rave proven that this second generation oil filled product dramatically reduces friction in comparison to standard cast nylon. Oil filled nylon offers the following benefits over standard nylon: - High degree of self lubrication
- Reduced coefficient of friction (up to 50%)
- Increased wear resistance (up to x10), due to less heat buildup
- Reduced heat buildup
- Reduced moisture absorption 5 % v 7 %
- Increased dimensional stability
Temperature: -40°C to +100°C, +160°C short term. Applications: - Ideal for unlubricated, highly loaded and slow moving parts
- Ideal for machine parts where external lubrication is impossible
- Textile machinery components where pollution by external lubrication has to be avoided.
