DecoWood slats used at Epping Plaza 
Epping Plaza in Victoria recently opened its Hunter & Gatherer fresh food precinct, elevating the complex to a striking construction featuring DecoWood slats to continue the natural theme. The Plaza was designed to be more than just a fruit market, but a welcoming atmosphere in which customers are invited to slow down, enjoy a coffee and read the paper. To compliment this vision, the architect used a DecoWood/glass combination throughout, making for a pleasant space to be in. As well as the facade, aluminium windows and doors were coated in the DecoWood wood grain finish, as well as the sizable "boomerangs" suspended from the high ceiling. Fabrication and installation by Metalart Industries 1300 36 33 70 DecoWood is a durable wood grain finish on aluminium that never needs painting or staining. The finish can be coated on a range of aluminium surfaces including windows and doors, slats and screens, flat sheets and unique projects such as the Epping Plaza.
