Hazelwood & Hill are now supplying the amazing Xanita X-Board - the exciting new high strength, lightweight exhibition board made from recycled materials.

Xanita X-Board®

It's no wonder Australian designers, architects, shopfitters, displaymakers and specifiers are excited about this new product - the possibilities are endless!

X-Board features include:

  • high strength but lightweight
  • created from recycled material
  • can be repulped after exhibition use
  • can be painted, mounted or veneered with timber, melamine etc
  • various thicknesses available
  • large board size (1200mm x 2.4 metres or 3.6 metres)

Xanita "upcycles" waste cellulose fibres from recycled kraft paper and sugar cane bagasse, turning this into high-strength, lightweight, non-toxic, low density fibre board.

Unlike other engineered wood which is typically dumped as landfill post-use, Xanita boards can, in their raw or industrial inkjet printed form, be completely repulped back into kraft paper, for re-use. Xanita boards contain no toxic urea formaldehyde.

Outer skins such as MDF, particleboard, Masonite or plywood are bonded to both sides of this honeycomb board, creating a lightweight composite panel, which can be direct edge banded without infill panels.

For longer-term POP displays, X-Board® Plus panels can be decorated with any FSC certified timber veneer, melamine-faced MDF or high-pressure laminate.

X-Board is an environmentally-friendly solution that meets up to the highest architectural specifications.
