Waterproof Retractable Roof for Pubs and Clubs from Issey 
Issey Sun Shade Systems have designed, manufactured and installed a series of retractable waterproof fabric roofs in the redevelopment of Eureka Hotel in Geelong, VIC. The project involved transforming the historic site into a modern interpretation of a regional pub. The Eureka now incorporates an extensive beer garden with a retractable roof as well as panoramic rooftop terrace views across Geelong. The roof system plays an important part in providing comfort for patrons when the weather demands it but also allows an outdoor space that fulfills new smoking requirements. With Issey's engineering expertise, designers can create opens spaces that go beyond satisfying the new regulations, they can provide multi-purpose areas that are protected from climate, but open to nature.
