Mechanical Stone Fixing 12mm Adjustable Clip from Stoneclip

Stoneclip has been involved with more and more projects in Australia, USA, UK and New Zealand. As each year goes by -- (we have been now supplying
mechanical fixing to the installers for over 6 years) and the range of clips
is steadily being upgraded all the while to either make the brackets fit
in more to suit the range of Stones and Ceramics being used in the industry
OR to be upgraded in strength.
We are releasing out new range of 5mm, 6mm
and 8mm adjustable Stoneclips in the new year AND as well we are changing
the 12 mm adjustable to be supplied with the reinforced plastic sheath as
shown in the photo.
The purpose this fills is that it acts as a shock absorber on the shaft of the Stoneclip if and when there is ever a shock or
tremor in the area or to help in situations where there is vibration caused
by moving traffic ( micro movement ).
This is not being presented as a
guarantee to stop any destruction but as a front line to SOAK up some of
the vibration and cushion the jarring effect on the Stoneclip itself and
minimise damage.
The 12 mm adjustable Stoneclip with the Shockclip cover
installed is the preferred installation medium being used to support the 80
mm thick Oamaru Limestone panels being installed at the new University Plaza
Project in Dunedin in New Zealand, which falls within a known earthquake
area.
