Preston Hire Maeda LC 785 Minicrane on Urban Super way Adelaide

Mini crawler crane specialist Preston Group recently supplied their 1st first mini crawler crane in South Australia as they continue their push for national coverage. One of the larger models in their fleet, the Maeda LC-785 is being used to install crash rail and sound wall steel structure being fitted to the Urban Superway in Adelaide. The brand new LC-785 is perfect for the job due to its pick and carry and 360° slew capability but also because of its narrow profile which is ideal for in roadwork environments.

The Urban Superway in Adelaide is a joint venture between John Holland and Leed Engineering who were awarded the contract to design and construct the South Australian Government funded South Road Superway in northern Adelaide.

Adelaide's Urban Superway is the single biggest single investment in a South Australian road project and the states most complex engineering road construction activity to date.
