touches on Chanel job to help secure MBAV

Following the successful entry in the MBAV "Excellence in Construction - Fitout Awards" for the Chanel Flagship Boutique, Russell Street Melbourne - Stag shop fitters in conjunction with Blinds by Peter Meyer have walked away winners. Blinds by Peter Meyer put the finishing touches on the brand new Channel Boutique that helped secure the "Master Builders Association Victoria"(MBAV) prestigious award.

The use of specialised materials to complement a world leading luxury brand including an exceptional level of detail and finish is certainly a quality Blinds by Peter Meyer have always been known for.

However the Flagship store in Melbourne required something just a little bit different, classier, and more refined.

Roman skins were flown in from America and crafted in Australia by Blinds by Peter Meyer into fully functioning motorised Roman Blinds. There was only one small issue, all the fabric covers arrived and were the wrong size! Blinds by Peter Meyer, working to a tight deadline, unpicked all of the binding by hand, reworked the skin covers over many days to get them working and looking perfect! Working with such a delicate fabric and on such a tight time frame was no easy task, however it was handled with precision by Blinds by Peter Meyer skilled craftsman.

Only the best motors would do for this job so all Roman blinds were installed with Somfy's Sonesse RTS motors which operate so quietly that you barely realise they are operating.

Blinds by Peter Meyer were commission to craft Chanels uniquely designed fabric, made up by top New York fabric design house, and convert these hand crafted fabric into Motorised Roman blinds throughout the complete multilevel flagship boutique store in Melbourne. This relationship with Blinds by Peter Meyer was formed off the back of the successful Fitout of other capital cities where Chanel has designed a stunning printed logo motif on translucent motorised Roller blinds. This gave the stores a unique street appeal whilst still being functional and stylish.
