Available as multi-lites constructed from modules up to 1m2 (1000 x 1000mm) in size. These large lites provide extensive viewing or light penetration areas. The required fire resistance is in no way compromised. Pyropanel® fire rated glazing systems are designed for easy installation into new projects, refurbished buildings and modified existing walls. Glass types include Georgian wire cast for 1 hour applications, or Pyroceram for up to 4 hour rating. Frame types - both pressed metal and RHS tube frames are capable of providing up to 4 hours fire rating. General method of fixing is with anchors. Pyropanel® Glazing System prior to test. A fixed glazing system incorporating 'Pyroceram' clear glass, capable of providing the following fire ratings: • Timber stud walls - 1 hour • Steel stud walls - 2 hours • Masonry walls - 4 hours Insulation criteria must be waived to B.C.A. requirements by local building authority.
