
Five-star ratings ‘savage blow for homebuyers’
The Australian Building Codes Board has brushed aside the overwhelming
weight of evidence from industry and government experts to press ahead with
mandatory five-star energy ratings for all new homes from 2006, the Housing
Industry Association said today.
