EJ Help Out with Guide Dogs Training Program QueenslandGUIDE DOGS TRAINING PROGRAM EJ, formerly known as Havestock, has recently helped out with Guide Dogs Queensland's new training program, known as "Environmental Enrichment". A new training facility has been built at the Guide Dogs center to socialise young dogs to the typical urban environment. A range of EJ covers, grates and new detectable warning plates were installed into the "Tactile/ Surface Exposure Area". "There are only a handful of Guide Dogs schools worldwide that are fortunate enough to have these types of facilities on site." said Andrew Barnes, Guide Dogs Services Manager. "Its very important that our dogs do not try to avoid unusual surfaces while working." "The EJ products will allow us to ensure the first experience our dogs have with these surfaces is a positive one in a controlled environment." "The EJ products will assist the Association in training Guide Dogs for many years to come." One of the products used in this facility is the new EJ Duralast detectible warning plate. These cast iron warning plates are made by EJ in Michigan, USA. Engineered to outlast the footpath, these long lasting cast iron products withstand the many rigorous urban conditions. "Set them and forget them." said Ian Maddocks, EJ Qld Sales Manager. "The durability of cast iron makes these the most cost effective choice for a detectable warning system." DURABLE, RELIABLE, PROVEN!
