Rip Curl selects bamboo from the Pro's - Eco Flooring Systems
Rip Curl Australia chose BT Strand Coffee for their retail outlet located in the International Terminal of Sydney Airport.
BT Strand is a pre-finished flooring range with:
- 13 layers of Trefferts coating that is ideal for commercial installations that have high traffic and constant wear and tear.
- Coatings that are cured by ultra violet (UV) energy that yields extreme hardness resulting in high mechanical resistance to scratch, impact and abrasion.
As this type of bamboo is strandwoven that has been made from random strips of bamboo assembled under extreme pressure, it is the hardest and most durable bamboo flooring available.
The BT Strand designer range of colours includes natural, coffee, white and espresso.
The latest addition to the range is BT Strand Engineered Wideboard. It:
- is extra wide at 190mm
- comprises of 3 layers:
- a top 4mm layer of strandwoven bamboo
- second layer of 9.5mm poplar
- third layer of 1.5mm fir
- comes with a patented uniclic profile for floating floors.
