As bamboo is a more rigid flooring product, Välinge have specially engineered an optimal locking system with superior strength that is fast and easy to install.

A big advantage Välinge has against other locking systems is that there is no need for a tapping block or hammer (which could damage the floor). The Välinge system takes the hammer out of the installer's hands and helps to eliminate potential problems.

This product drops and locks right into place with no beating or banging. Other systems are more difficult to install and require more time to install.

Tests of the Välinge locking profile have been conducted where the strength of the mechanical locking is divided into two different aspects, visual gap opening at 0.2mm and total strength before the lock is broken or the product slides apart. The test results showed that the Välinge profile is by far the strongest lock with a strength exceeding twice the strength of a competitive lock.
