Dalsouple rubber flooring has been used in retail stores in Australia for over 12 years. The first Canberra installation was at the ActewAGL telecommunications store in Westfield in Woden, Canberra. The interior designer chose Blanc Dakota (off white) tiles in Granita (orange skin type texture). Granita gives a greater amount of slip resistant than the smooth finish.
The tiles are 680mm x 680mm x 3.5mm.
One would think that a white floor is not a good choice for a retail floor, but the rubber is protected with a couple of layers of polish which makes it easier to clean. After 18 months the rubber is perfect and not even worn underneath the office chairs with castors.
Dalsouple has a 10 year guarantee but expected to last 15 to 20 years. Dalsouple rubber flooring comes in a range of 80 standard colours and over 30 textures. New DalRollo and DalRollazzo rollform rubber with 13% natural rubber now tested to comply with Australian building codes.
