Sandpiper's Portable Pump at Kelair Pumps Australia

Sandpiper's portable pump robust and reliable
Sales Engineer Peter Doran (TAS)
Anyone who has ever had to fix a problem on-site
when they are up to their knees in water would tell
you that it isn't much fun.
Wouldn't it be great if you could quickly and simply
drain water from a trench, sump or man-hole - even
in a remote location - without having to put up with
the noise and fumes from a portable engine-driven
pump? Well, you can...
Warren Rupp Inc, who is well known for its Sandpiper
air-operated double-diaphragm pumps, also
manufactures a product that is purpose-built for
small de-watering applications where mains power
is not readily available.
The Portapump is a lightweight (14.9kg) but robust
submersible centrifugal de-watering pump that operates
from a 12V power supply such as the battery
in a car or truck. It comes with cable and clamps to
connect to your battery and can be purchased with
an optional carrying case for safe and convenient
storage.
With flows of up to 160 litres per minute and a
shut-off head of 7.6m the Portapump offers fast,
reliable and convenient de-watering and is an essential
tool for those involved with plumbing; the
construction industry; industrial maintenance; municipal
water and sewer authorities; telephone and
natural gas utilities; golf course maintenance or
cemetery maintenance.
