Style Plantation under new management - accountable, renewable, sustainable.
Style Plantation Holdings Pty Ltd acquired through a management buy out the Australian and New Zealand franchise network - Style Plantation Limited.
They also now own the Franchise rights to 8 retail outlets in Australia and 1 in New Zealand with the objective to grow the number of outlets / distributor
licenses to approximately 15 within the next 18 months.
Style Plantation is the leader in environmentally sustainable bamboo flooring throughout Australia and New Zealand. Importing a range of renewable resource
products directly from suppliers in Asia they intend to grow the product and service offerings in accordance with customer demand and market trends for
domestic, commercial and international markets.
Kevin Bursnall and Paul Coulson are the Directors of Style Plantation Holdings Pty Ltd and purchased the company earlier this year (2005). Both Kevin
and Paul have considerable experience with franchise operations and renewable resource alternatives are their passion.
Kevin has enjoyed a long career in the retail industry. Originally from South Africa, Kevin managed 12 large supermarket outlets for a large retail
concern. Approximately 20 years ago he was approached by Big W Australia and asked to join them to coordinate the opening of a number of new Big W stores
in Victoria and South Australia. In 1990 he joined the Supersave supermarket chain running 100 retail outlets. He was then approached by the Bi-Lo group
and went on to run their Queensland operation.

After many years in the industry Kevin decided to start his own group of supermarkets and with two partners he built 6 mega stores and sold
them off as franchises. His new found interest in the franchise concept lead him to explore other franchise opportunities including Style
Plantation.
Over the past 10 years Paul has applied his skills across a broad

spectrum of unique, exciting and challenging opportunities in the field of franchising / licensing and specialised marketing / advertising solutions,
locally and internationally. Part of Paul's skill set is the ability to assess prospective license opportunities. Due to the considerable experience
with varied license and marketing related initiatives, he is well-versed and informed in general marketing and consumer trends, offering proficiency
in identifying prospective markets.
Paul is determined to offer an accountable and sustainable competitive advantage by creating a platform within the company that will set the industry
standard. Under the new management, Style Plantation will work with clients and service partners to find suitable, innovative sustainable solutions.
