NEWS ARTICLE ARCHIVESUnderstated elegance from Wonderful Kitchens - clean, simple lines and two-tone cabinetry give this kitchen a refined lookThe client's brief was simple: she wanted a clean, balanced room with good access throughout. Andrew Dee from Wonderful Kitchens has designed a deceptively simple kitchen that follows the kitchen walls under the bay window and has plenty of room for the central island bench. "The floor cabinets were minimised to maximise the floor area, maintain clean lines and provide enough space to fit the island," he says. "The kitchen sits well within the room's confines, looks fantastic and has a simple, understated elegance." High functionality is assured with the use of Blumotion and Tandembox drawers throughout, while a stainless-steel mobile trolley is a multi-functional accessory that can be used as additional benchspace or when entertaining. The fairly long and narrow room could have provided a design challenge but Andrew Dee has solved the space requirements and allowed easy access for the whole family. The space also accommodates a dining table and built-in buffet / storage area - just perfect for entertaining.
