DC Powered LED Hibay Lighting from enLighten Australia

enLighten has just completed a custom designed installation for NSW electricity transmission network operator TransGrid. The iDemand demand management showcase project, designed to reduce electrical demand by up to 50%, was launched on Nov 25th in Western Sydney.

DC LED lighting was one component of the project, powered directly by a 400kWh lithium polymer battery storage system partly powered by 100kW of solar power capacity.
