A Viking Pumps case study & a new office for Kelair Pumps

While many of us were making the most of the summer break, Kelair's most experienced Sales Engineer, Myro Braktovic, was moving his family north to open a new Kelair branch in Mackay, Central Queensland. We are pleased to report they have all settled in and Kelair Mackay is open for business. In addition to heading Mackay branch, Myro will also assume the responsibility of Queensland State Manager, ably assisted by Sales Engineers, Rudi Jahrig and Hem Prakash both located in Brisbane office.

The position of NSW Sales Engineer will be filled by Mark Butterfield. Mark is a former Kelair employee with science and mechanical engineering qualifications and has experience in both the pumping and industrial dust filtration markets. Mark will commence duties on Monday, 12th February but in the meantime you can be assured of continued sales and after-sales service.

After the amount of interest shown in our last issue, we have included another case study on water treatment using the Kelair-Blivet™ and fire and process water pumps built and tested by Kelair. The other case study refers to a polymer pumping application that took some fine tuning. Viking Internal Gear pumps are ideally suited to pumping numerous polymers but even so there are variables to consider to maintain efficient pump operation and long life for the pump and its components.
