Moduline presents the Suntec City Project from concept to completion
The Suntec City Project comprises four 45 storey buildings, one 18 storey building and a massive convention and exhibition centre. At the time of
construction (1992-1997) it was the largest project ever built in Singapore at a cost of US$1 Billion dollars.
Moduline worked directly with the giant construction company Hyundai to supply and install the cable management system for the complex. The infrastructure comprised over
120,000 metres of floor ducting, connected with 40,000 junction boxes, together with skirting duct and floor outlet boxes.
The junction boxes were designed such that each of them could be simply converted to become a services outlet box, providing power, telephone and data at
each desk position, which greatly enhanced the flexibility of the open plan office layouts.
Moduline managed the complete ducting project, from concept to handover and the project was completed on time.
