The smartbreeze "thinking thermostat" is innovative in design and provides an energy management system that can link with existing and traditional or renewable energy systems.
To maintain the temperature set on your room thermostat, the smartbreeze system first uses the fresh air from the smartbreeze roof unit and from any additional renewable energy heater/cooler connected to your system. If the temperature within the room deviates from the set temperature by more than two degrees Celsius, then the smartbreeze thermostat will turn on any traditional heater/cooler system you have connected.
This way, the renewable energy heating/cooling system will have priority over the traditional system and will ensure that you maximise your energy savings through use of the smartbreeze system.
