The OWACOUSTIC range of premium ceiling tiles is made from White Mineral wool which is totally biosoluble.
White Wool is made from a blend of sand, limestone and recycled glass. These natural materials combine to produce a high quality mineral wool.
These ranges of tiles are components according to EN 13964-point 4.5.2-par.3, which have neither formaldehyde containing materials added nor have naturally formaldehyde levels occurring. They are free of any harmful substances that could be said to propose a health risk and comply with all current international requirements.
Therefore the RAL ( German Mineral Wool Institute) certificate confirms and stands as a guarantee of the health safety and quality aspects.
The IARC (International Agency for Cancer Research- a subdivision of the WHO) only approve of minerals that have zero suspicion of being carcinogenic have given the OWACOUSIC range of ceiling tiles their seal of approval
