E.W. Cox building maintenance and access equipment

E. W. Cox is an engineering company specialising in the Design,
Manufacture, Installation of Building Maintenance Equipment (BME) and Access
Equipment. Founded by Eric William Cox in October 1955, E. W. Cox were the pioneers
of external building access systems in Australia. Some units, now well over 30 years
old, are still providing reliable service. A testament to the commitment to build a
quality product that is still present in every E. W. Cox Building maintenance unit
manufactured today.
E. W. Cox's sales and engineering departments have successfully demonstrated their
ability to apply innovative solutions and new technologies to difficult access
problems over a period of 40 years. During October 1994, the company was awarded a
"Commendation for Outstanding Export Achievements." Further, in 1995 E. W. Cox
received an award for "Mechanical Excellence in the Construction Industry" from
the Master Builders Association of Victoria, Australia.
In 2000, E.W.Cox successfully installed what is believed to be the world’s largest
BMU. With a 5 stage telescoping jib which can reach out 48m, it provides access to
the entire façade from a single location. However, big does not mean unreliable, as
this unit is has been used day and night for two years for façade maintenance and
cleaning.
Internationally, E.W. Cox is well recognized as a leading supplier of Building
Maintenance Equipment. We have branch offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Dubai,
and New Jersey (USA), and an extensive network of agents covering five continents.
