FEW and its subsidiary Liquid Rubber Melbourne are proud to be specialist
waterproofing contractor on Award Winning project at AGL Power Station

AGL's Bogong Hydro Power Project was named "Most Outstanding Clean Energy Project" at the EcoGen 2010 Clean Energy Awards.

The environmentally sensitive Bogong Power station project demanded the very best from those in a supporting role; and FEW was contracted to apply and install the power station's waterproofing membrane.

Bogong Power Station, the largest hydroelectric asset built on mainland Australia for more than 25 years, is located in the upper catchment of the Kiewa valley and was extremely environmentally sensitive.

FEW are a certified applicator for Liquid Rubber Melbourne and all products are environmentally safe, non-hazardous and consist of stable, non-toxic, odourless, non-flammable components. Liquid Rubber provided a seamless waterproofing membrane that met the requirements of the projects' environmental and health and safety considerations.

To reduce the impact on the surrounding area, the final power station structure is almost entirely buried. Once Liquid Rubber was applied, the entire area has been revegetated, effectively reducing the visual impact of the project on the surrounding Alpine National Park.
