Modular Fence Panel Walls from Wallmark Australia

If you are thinking about installing boundary fencing around your home or commercial property you may be weighing up the pros and cons of walls made from concrete panels versus Wallmark fence panel walls. Modular fence panel walls from Wallmark offer a number of significant advantages over walls constructed from concrete blocks or concrete wall panels; some of these advantages stem from the relatively light weight of Wallmark fence panels when compared with fencing components made from concrete.

Wallmark modular fencing has been engineered for easy construction and each component has been designed for accurate positioning, attachment and assembly. It has been specifically designed for fencing, unlike concrete blocks which, although versatile, are not designed for any specific construction project.

Concrete blocks and precast concrete wall panels, whether produced from conventional aggregate based concrete or aerated concrete, are considerably heavier than Wallmark modular fencing panels. Before constructing a concrete fence a builder has to excavate a trench to take the fence footings; however, no trench is needed for a Wallmark fence because the light panels are supported by posts cemented into holes in the ground. By eliminating the need for a trench, Wallmark designers have significantly reduced construction time and site disruption.

Wallmark's Evowall range of modular fencing has been engineered for use in different wind regions of Australia. Posts come in a range of heights, strengths and configurations; in addition to standard sizes for normal wind conditions. Evowall posts are available in longer lengths and larger sectional sizes, providing more construction flexibility and height options and greater resistance to cyclones.

A modular panel used in Wallmark fencing systems is fabricated with an expanded polystyrene core and lined with fibre cement sheeting. In addition to being durable, strong and light, these materials have excellent acoustic properties, making Wallmark fences a perfect solution for sites where intrusive noise is a problem. NATA testing has rated the noise reduction of Wallmark panels at 28 decibels; although solid fences made from concrete materials create a noise barrier and provide a degree of noise protection, they have generally not been designed to deaden noise as effectively as Wallmark fencing.

Wallmark modular fencing has been engineered for Australian conditions. A Wallmark fencing system is a fast, easy and cost effective way to install a fence or wall that provides security, privacy, wind resistance and noise protection and has the appearance of an expensive masonry wall.
