New Generation of Timber Double Hung Windows from Trend Windows
Trend® has launched a new generation of timber double-hung windows. Unlike old spiral-balanced or weighted windows, Trend’s new generation double-hung windows do not rattle in windy weather, do not allow air to infiltrate the room and offer excellent energy efficiency. This is achieved thanks to seals fitted around the stiles and rails and the meeting interlock.
The windows’ new spring arrangement is hidden behind the operating sashes and moves with the sash when the windows are opened and closed. This makes for easier painting and staining.
Trend’s new double-hung timber windows can also accommodate double glazing. This combination can achieve U Values of between 2 and 1.5 W/m3K
