Bondi Baths at Icebergs on Bondi Beach needed a disabled access solution to get from the entrance level deck to the swimming pool below.

The extreme conditions and limited space at Bondi Baths meant a non-standard lift was called for.

The external site required a Cama C7 straight-run wheelchair platform stairlift that could withstand constant exposure to the elements. The site is hit by sea spray daily and is constantly exposed to wind, rain and sun.

Working with Cama we specified a corrosion resistant lift that would stand up to the elements. Coupled with monthly preventative maintenance the lift has and continues to work day after day. The stairlift is used many times a week to assist Icebergs' mobility impaired clients.
