Global Safe Technologies non-slip facelift for council change rooms
The local council of this New South Wales based regional town had concerns
regarding to public safety and potential slip and fall incident at their swimming complexes.
Global Safe Technologies floor safety representative was asked to propose them highly slip
resistive, proven sustainable solutions on various surfaces. The council also wanted to
improve the aesthetical appearance of the change rooms in two of their swimming complexes.
After evaluation of various solutions, the council has decided to go ahead the solutions
proposed by the company.
For the tiled surfaces the Safe Solution micro etching treatment was suggested and for the
rejuvenation of the worn painted concrete surface, the Floor Tuff Green environmentally
friendly polyurethane anti slip coating was selected, using the very popular speckle
coated version. The company and its solutions were chosen due to the products widely
proven sustainable slip resistive quality and applicability to the environments as well
as the professionalism of the service provider company.
Work at all locations was completed within agreed time and council management is very
satisfied with the results.
Now they council is looking forward to the opening of the pool complex in early October,
with the knowledge that the environment will not only be safe, but also aesthetically
appealing.
As a result of the council's satisfaction, Global Safe Technologies will also be looking
at providing solutions for the council in other areas of concern.
The council also going to take up the industry unique, Floor Safety Maintanence Program
(FSMP) which is also offered to them as part of the solution, to ensure that this unique
floor safety solution provided will remain intact now and in the future.
