Solar generated warm filtered air by HRV Australia

While thousands of homeowners are using gas and electric appliances to
take the chill out of their homes in Spring, HRV owners are getting their warmth from
the sun for the running cost of a light globe.
General Manager Blair Milnes reports "we are seeing temperatures in most roof spaces on
clear sunny days over 30 degrees when its 15-17degrees outside." This significantly
reduces the requirement to run artificial heating and in many cases eliminates it
altogether.
"The warmth harvested during the day often means customers don't need to switch on
Greenhouse Gas producing appliances during the day or at night, which cost money to
operate," says Milnes.
HRV measures the temperature in the roof and the house and brings the warm air generated
by the sun shining on the roof into the house through a medical-grade filter creating a
pollen and dust-free environment. Milnes notes that feedback from customers posted on
their website highlights the overwhelming importance Australians place on air quality,
"by creating a clean-air environment, HRV customers are reporting that they get a better
nights sleep, use less medication to control asthma and allergies and are having less
sick days away from work and school."
