Gearmotors for industrial sectional doors from FAAC
FAAC has the pleasure of announcing the 540 Gear-motors for industrial doors. The KIT consists of the 540 single phase Gearmotor with the
latest integrated 540 BPR control board, chain winch for installation up to 4.5m high and custom pre-wired keyboard for multi-function purposes (up/down/stop/key-lock).
- The solution for industrial applications
The 540 Gear-motors were specifically designed to satisfy all closing requirements in industrial and commercial environments, and are able to
automate sectional doors and rolling doors.
- Sturdy, safe and exceptionally quiet
The operation of the OIL-BATH gearbox is guaranteed by a steel worm-screw coupled to a bronze ring-gear, enclosed in a solid die-cast aluminium
body. The gear-motor is non-reversing. In the event of a power cut, the door can be moved manually by using the "rapid" release cord device or,
by manually activating the chain winch. If one of the two manual activation systems is activated, a safety micro-switch prevents electrical operation.
- The importance of versatility
The gear-motors were conceived for lateral fitting with "direct" transmission on the spring shaft, or with "indirect" transmission by chain. The
latter application make it possible to increase the automated system's versatility, enabling use even if lateral space is insufficient, or for
particularly heavy doors. The gear-motor is highly compact, in particular its width of only 92 mm makes it easy to install even where space is
tight. The use frequency of the gear-motors (almost intensive) means that they can be used also for particularly heavy duty cycles.
Logics available with the integrated control board are "manned" logics (C "with maintained contact", B "with pulse", B/C "pulsed" opening and
maintained contact" closure) but also SEMI-AUTOMATIC AND
AUTOMATIC logics. The gear-motors can be managed by radio-control: for example, by using an RP2 receiver on the board's rapid connector, opening
and closing can be commanded (even with different pushbuttons
on the transmitter). Furthermore, the board can also be used for connecting
safety devices (safety edge or photocells). Clearly, these models are the ideal
solution for quick installations: no bother with electrical connections to "remote"
electronic boards, a good level of functionality at a very convenient price.
