Blind Elegance designer window coverings feature at the Crowne Plaza, Terrigal
The Crowne Plaza at Terrigal recently contacted Blind Elegance
situated in Toowoon Bay and requested a on site consultation to decorate the Tea
Tree Spa rooms. The Director of the rooms, Tania, said that the "Wellness Centre"
which operates the Tea Tree Spa Rooms is a place that clients can escape to from
the daily grind and be pampered with massage and relaxation. With this in mind,
Blind Elegance was asked to prepare a design for the window coverings which would
offer light control, privacy, block out and subtle decor which compliments the decor.
Tania was offered a chain driven Holland or Roller Blind application with a extensive
variety of fabrics to choose from. These fabric included the selection of 100%
blockout for privacy and translucent fabrics which allow filtered light into the
room but maintaining 100% privacy. Tania also wanted to compare the efficient and
slim line look of Holland Blinds to that of classical Roman Blinds. Roman Blinds
