Support clip from StoneClip - new
StoneClip.com have just finished the testing and are
into the manufacturing stage of their newest product - Support Clip,
which is designed to be fitted to the back of the panel being supported
and work in conjunction with the glue or fix being used to adhere the
panel to the substrate. The clip itself enable the panel to be flush
fitted to the substrate as the fixings are countersunk into the clip
itself. It is suitable for panel up to 1.200mm x 1000mm and from 10mm
thick up to and including 15mm. After this thickness it is recommended
that the standard type of StoneClip be used (kerf fitting).
These support clips also allow the fixer to be able to allow for any
discrepancy in the wall and thus it is in effect an adjustable StoneClip also.
The product will be sold with or without the 12 gauge coutersunk
stainless steel screws x38mm long. This product truly promises to be
an aid to the industry in the bracket where there are problems with
thickness and weight, that is just outside the 38kgs/m² and 20mm thick.
It is expected to be available for sale around the first week in December 2007.
