Monfort double entrance door from The Good House
What else, better than the entrance door of your new home is going to make
a statement no one will ever forget? The Monfort, pictured here, certainly will, don't you
think? At The Good House, we have a passion for beautiful doors made of solid timber by
artisans from the south of France, who perpetuate the tradition through centuries of
craftsmanship.
No need to tell, every door is custom made to fulfill all your wishes. You can decide on
the silky touch of French walnut, or the more traditional and rustic look of French oak.
You can opt also for a smooth and polished finish, or an antiquated and ragged weathering
that will make your door look like two hundred years old.
On the technical side, our doors are quite impressive too. With an average thickness of 70mm,
the Monfort can weigh more than 300 kilos and comes fully hinged with a double rebate on a
custom made frame, with a multi point safety lock and peripheral rubber seal.

Discover also our picture galleries of French limestone fireplaces, custom made in the Burgundy
region, as well as more building and decorative products we can source for you from France and
Southern Europe. Our range includes terracotta shingles and Mediterranean roof tiles, hard
Burgundy limestone floors, genuine French oak floor boards and parquetry, available in traditional
'tongue and groove' or parquetry blocks (certified from sustainable forestry), double glazed
casement windows and French doors (opening inside), traditional and louver shutters.
At The Good House, we help make your vision come true.
