Solar LED self-contained street lighting by Greenbridge
Greenbridge Energy Australia's range of public lighting systems now include the
"self-contained photovoltaic street lighting kit." The photovoltaic kit is
designed for illumination of car parks, roads, public gardens, parks, cycle ways and
wherever it is uneconomical to install conventional lighting systems. It is
particularly advantageous in areas subject to environmental limitations,
areas where there are thoroughfares, railway or motorway crossings which make
it extremely costly to build cable ducts for connection to the electricity main.
Requires no power from the electricity mains, each pole is self-contained and
does not need to be physically connected to the others;
The energy is exclusively produced from the sunlight, which is stored during
the day and drawn upon at night;
Operators are not required, once programmed, the electronic control unit turns
the lamps on and off (the control unit is required for the model with the SOX
lamp while it is included in the LED board in models with the LED lamp);
The system is extremely reliable as it is constructed solely from solid-state
components. A fault in an individual pole will not affect another.
