Hitachi Split System air conditioners feature a highly sensitive built-in microcomputer that calculates precisely how far in advance to automatically activate your air conditioner to ensure that your room will be at just the right temperature exactly when you want it.

Calculations are based on automatic readings of current temperatures and programmed temperatures. It will save energy and money too! You can achieve savings of up to 15% for cooling and about 18% for heating by using the fussy control timer properly. Hitachi Split Systems have an in-built timer that can be preset to turn off automatically 1, 2, 3 or 7 hours after you comfortably drift off to sleep.

Whisper quiet operation
Previous grille designs only drew in air through narrow frontal ports. The New Quiet Grille draws air, not only from the front, but also from the top of the unit.

Air entering the quiet grille now follows an aerodynamically designed path across the heat exchanger, promoting more efficient air-intake with less resistance for quieter operation.

Hitachi's full width hi-tensile fans have slightly skewed blades to ensure the air is cut quietly and smoothly.

The super long fan rotates with precision to deliver a powerful flow of air while suppressing noise and vibration.

Super slit-finned heat exchanger & thermospiral tube
The super slit-finned heat exchanger has been engineered with a special contoured design.

Adding ridges and increasing the thinness and number of aluminium fins has greatly expanded the surface area - resulting in faster and more economical heating and cooling.

The thermospiral tubing utilises premium grade copper with an improved spiral-grooved pattern on the inside surface, which achieves up to an unbelievable 40% improvement in the heat transfer rate.

Air purifying filters standard
Hitachi split system models feature air purifying filters. This dual air filtration system enables powerful removal of airborne particles like dust as well as allergy agents as tiny as 0.01 micron such as pollen and mould. Using the purifying filter in combination with the standard filter cleanses room air up to 1 hour faster than standard filter-only equipped units.
