Grip Guard's Non-Slip floor treatments allow architects, builders, property managers and homeowners to specify the floor surfaces they prefer without being limited to surfaces which are specifically manufactured to be slip resistant.

Even high gloss surfaces such as marble, granite, and porcelain tiles can be treated to achieve a non slip finish. Grip Activator is a unique floor treatment that creates a microscopic non-slip tread pattern that is invisible to the naked eye. This tread pattern raises the coefficient of friction, making the floor surface safer for pedestrians and reducing the risk of slip and fall accidents.

Unlike coatings that sit on the top of the floor surface and eventually wear away leaving the floor dangerously slippery, Grip Guard non-slip treatment permanently modifies the floor surface creating a safe, slip resistant pedestrian surface.

Grip Activator non slip floor treatment is also suitable for ceramic tiles, terrazzo, concrete (polished or unpolished), aggregate... virtually all hard surfaces. The treatment is applied by trained Grip Guard operators and the surface can be walked on immediately after the non-slip treatment is completed.

Following Grip Activator treatment, a maintenance program is recommended to ensure that the non-slip properties of the floor surface are maintained. A two year warranty is provided which includes the slip resistance reading of the floor surface both before and after treatment.
