For Brisbane based, Sexy Floors it's business as usual. After the devastating recent floods, we're blessed to have dodged the deluge. Also, we've received reports that our epoxy floors have stood up against the dirty, muddy water and after a good clean, have come up like new.

The Directors of Sexy Floors have family and friends affected and displaced by the floods but we're happy to report that even though our family and friends were stressed (and rightly so!) life is getting back to normal and they are grateful to be alive.

Over the past weeks, we've received a lot of telephone calls from customers, overseas and interstate wanting to know how Sexy Floors can help those in the affected areas. This press release will briefly outline what we can do.

1. Those in affected areas can have a floor at a discounted rate. We will try hard to give customers a floor design to fit in their budget. Also, we'll be laying floors in 'cluster' areas reducing our travel and laying time - therefore reducing our overall costs.

2. It's in our best interest to keep the prices down because we get most of our work through referrals. Every floor we lay, we get between five and fifty calls enquiries per floor. Customers call to say they love our product and its quality speaks for itself.

3. Our product, epoxy, is the best floor coating to have in a flood situation. This is an important factor when you're valuing/selling your house. Epoxy has so many benefits over all other floor coverings, but when it comes to floods in particular, you won't need to rip up and replace the surface. This is because our product sticks directly to the concrete. It was made so that water can pool on the floor for a period of time without affecting the surface. Unlike tiles, you won't get germs, mould, or disease seeping and spreading in to the grout lines making the floor unhygienic and smelly. You won't get this problem with epoxy.

4. Not only can epoxy handle water, but on the other side of the spectrum, it has been given a high fire test score, meaning it can also withstand the extreme destruction of fire. Most carpet and timber floors don't have the same high rating.

5. There's no-one else in Australia who can do what we do. Our floors are environmentally friendly, non toxic with non VOC's and are warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
